Polly was born and bred in the city of Cardiff, she’s Welsh and proud and won’t stop telling you about it. A former Welsh athlete, after leaving the track she had to find something else to use all that excess energy on and being fiercely ambitious where else than the good old wireless! Polly got the radio bug when working in promotions for her local station, but not content with standing on the street shouting about the radio station, she wanted to be in the studio shouting on it. She started presenting on Community station Afan FM in Port Talbot and was quickly picked up by Nation Radio in South Wales where she found real music and knew the radio industry was for her. It was here she excelled as one of the UK's most promising female radio DJ, known for her relaxed, natural and bright flare on air and extensive music knowledge. Within a year being on the radio Polly was asked to cover a show on National Radio Station Absolute Radio. She now has been on Absolute Radio since April 2009 and has been the chirpy Welsh voice heard in the small hours over the weekend. With a passion for all types of music, being ultra versatile Polly is the presenter on the biggest digital station in the UK, the Hits, and also can be heard on South Wales’ Rock music station Nation Radio and National Station formerly '****** Radio' now Absolute Radio.
